Make up favourites -
So alot of people have asked about what make up I use, favourite products, etc.. I figured it just makes sense to post an entry of my favourite products to use on certain areas and go from there!
Face - Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse - I’ve used this foundation for years, it sits just right on my skin and doesn’t feel heavy unlike a lot of the liquid foundations I’ve tried.
MAC’s Heatherette Beauty Powder - I love this! I tend to use this as a blush for days when I only wear really basic make up.
Benefit’s Dandelion - I’ve always been addicted to Benefit blush, I used to be a Throb girl but I decided to go for a more toned down version and purchased Dandelion a couple days ago, it’s such a nice colour on my skin and the slight fragrance is great.
Benefit’s High Beam - As you can see I only have a small amount of this left - eek! I use this mainly for highlighting my cheekbones and brow line, a little tip it to apply it with a flat foundation brush.
Eyes -
Benefit’s Get Bent Mascara - I’ve been using this for around a year now, just like the Heatherette beauty powder I only use this when I’m wearing a little make up. I’m lucky to have naturally long eyelashes so this is perfect for giving them a little extra curl and lift.
Too Faced’s Lash Injection - This is just the best volumizing mascara around! Plus the brush is pretty big so you can be done in like two coats!
Bourjois’ Liner Effect Mascara - This mascara is so good for lengthening lashes, it also creates an illusion that you’re wearing liquid eyeliner, I’m not sure how but you can notice it and your eyes are really defined. I swear by this, I usually wear it to work, it comes in handy cuz I don’t like to wear a lot of make up whilst working so the built in eyeliner effect is great.
Bourjois’ Little Round Pot - 07 - If I’m going out, or want to wear a smokey eyed look than this eyeshadow is perfect, plus it stays on for hours and hours!
Urban Decay’s Maui Wowie - This colour is so pretty, a rich gold with tiny gold glitter flakes. It’s not too heavy or tacky looking and I do tend to use this daily, the only problem is there’s a lot of fallout.
Maybelline Definer Liquid Liner - I am the worst person in the world when it comes to liquid eyeliner. It takes me at least fifteen minutes and I manage to get it everywhere except my eyes! So I bought this Maybelline product, it’s so easy to use, it’s a like a liner pen so it’s sturdy and easily glides across the lids.
Lips -
Barry M Lip Paint - You’ve probably heard me rave about this before, it’s just the best lipstick ever. I tend to either pastel colours or nudes and Barry M has some beautiful colours so my collection is growing quite fast!
Too Faced’s Lip Injection - There is no way I would ever get collagen, I couldn’t afford it and I’d probably have some kind of fit over the needle, but I’ve always wanted naturally big lips, the best way I find is to use a lip plumper and Lip Injection is definitely the best one out there!
Nails -
Barry M Nail Paint - Once again another Barry M product I’m addicted to! I have around ten nail paints now, I just find they never chip, they last for pretty much weeks and the colours are all gorgeous.
Models Own - This was kind of a random buy, I was in Urban Outfitters and spotted a navy nail polish, a colour I’d been seeking out for so long, so I picked it up and thought I’d try it. It’s very similar to Barry M’s nail paint except a lot thicker, and even harder to chip. They have over 60 colours so I can see myself also growing a little addicted!
